This Privacy Policy explains how TicTacTalk collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the service, you agree to the practices described here.
Google account identifier: When you sign in with Google, we receive a unique account ID and basic profile info. We store only the unique ID ... used to manage your account sessions and enforce bans. We do not display your real name or email to other users.
Nickname & avatar: The display name and avatar you choose, visible to other users.
IP address: Used temporarily for matchmaking, abuse prevention, and safety reports. A reported user's IP may be retained for up to 7 days to investigate abuse, then removed unless it is required for an active ban or legal obligation.
Reports: If you report someone (or are reported), we log the report details for moderation.
We do not record or store your video, audio, or chat messages. These are transmitted directly between users when possible. If a direct WebRTC connection fails, a TURN relay may help transmit the live media, but TicTacTalk still does not record or store it.
We use the information we collect to operate the service, match you with other users, enforce our Terms of Service, and prevent abuse through our moderation and ban system.
TicTacTalk uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in between visits, remember your language choice, remember profile settings, and save advertising consent choices where required.
To keep the service free, TicTacTalk may show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, IP address, browser information, approximate location, and similar technologies to serve, personalize, limit, and measure ads.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, TicTacTalk pauses ad requests until you make an advertising-cookies choice. With TicTacTalk's built-in consent flow, we request non-personalized ads after consent. If a Google-certified consent management platform is enabled later, it may ask for additional choices for personalized ads.

We retain your Google account identifier, nickname, and profile data for as long as your account is active. Ban records are retained as needed to enforce our rules. IP addresses are normally used transiently. When a safety report is submitted, the reported user's IP may be retained for up to 7 days, then removed unless it is required for an active ban or legal obligation.
When you request account deletion, active sessions are revoked immediately and a 30-day grace period begins. Signing in again with the same Google account before the deadline cancels the request. After permanent deletion, a minimal token-revocation record may remain temporarily solely to prevent an older signed session token from restoring the deleted account.
We rely on Google for sign-in, Railway/hosting infrastructure, Postgres database hosting, and a TURN provider for WebRTC fallback. These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of information.
TicTacTalk is strictly for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has used the service, we will terminate the account and delete associated data.
You can schedule permanent account deletion from Settings → Delete account while signed in. Active sessions are revoked immediately; the profile and related data are permanently erased after a 30-day grace period. Signing in again before the deadline cancels the scheduled deletion. You may also use our external account-deletion page to submit a request without opening the app. Signing out only removes the current session from your device and does not delete the account.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
